I firstly found out about Danmachi while scrolling some pages on MyAnimeList. I didn't know it came from a Light Novel (nor i really knew what a Light Novel was), but the graphics seemed rather cool and i was searching for something to watch during Summer 2023. I had no idea i was going to love this series so much!!
-SZN 1: 2015 (airing from April 3 to June 29), 12 episodes, covered the first five novels of Familia Myth, had a non-canon OVA (in 2016);

After the release of Season 1, we got the first (and only) spin-off season of Sword Oratoria, which is really the main spin-off of the whole series. Even before reading the opinions of Light Novel readers, however, i could tell this was a terrible adaptation: it barely did anything with the lore!! I watched it after finishing the whole main series, but i feel like it didn't add much to it really.
-Spin-off SZN Sword Oratoria: 2017 (airing from April 14 to June 30), 12 episodes, covered the first four novels of SO;

In 2018, both Season 2 and a movie got announced; the movie, however, isn't canon to the story. According to the Light Novel readers, this was the worst adaptation out of all the seasons of Familia Myth - and yes, i'm going to cite LN readers quite a lot because they're my trusted source lmao.
-SZN 2: 2019 (airing from July 12 to September 28), 12 episodes, covered volumes 6, 7, and part of volume 8 of Familia Myth, had a non-canon OVA (in 2020);
-Movie Arrow of the Orion: 2019 (shown in theaters on February 15), not canon;

After the OVA for Season 2 got announced in 2020, they also announced Season 3:
-SZN 3: 2020 (airing from October 2 to December 18), 12 episodes, covered volumes 9, 10, and 11 of Familia Myth, had a non-canon OVA (in 2021);

Now we start talking about absolute peak. In 2022, Season 4 got announced, however this time it was divided in two cours:
-SZN 4 PART 1 New Chapter: Labyrinth Arc: 2022 (airing from July 23 to October 1), 11 episodes, covered volumes 12, 13 and 14 of Familia Myth along with Part 2;
-SZN 4 PART 2 Deep Chapter: Calamity Arc: 2023 (airing from January 7 to March 18), 11 episodes, covered volumes 12, 13 and 14 of Familia Myth along with Part 1;
I fucking LOVED Season 4. And it is actually what made me love Ryuu's character so much!! It went very in-deep with her past (and i've been contemplating buying Astrea Record's LN adaptations for a while for this exact reason).

We reached present: Season 5!! It was announced in November 2023 and is currently airing.
